Purpose
of contract
|

The purpose of
contract is to teach you the French language so that you
could effectively speak it in every kind of
situations in France.You will learn the
international standard
French, which is mainly
the French spoken in the Loire Valley in France. This
French give you the possibility to be undertood in every
french speaking country of the world. We ask you to have
the suitable attitude for (student - teacher) relation. The
teacher knows better than you. We ask you to have the
suitable attitude for (student - teacher) relation. In
order to make the learning process sucessful and to build
the credibility of the school, we ask you respect,
wish to undertand, humility, work, enthousiasm. You are not
in a grocery. Fairlingua doesn't sell hours of French
but suggest you a common learning process.

32 lessons / level .
The two last lessons are for exam and results
/ explanations.

Duration
of lessons
|
|
from 45 to 90 mn.
For 90 mn lesson, a break of 10 mn is done after 40. The
time of the lesson is determined by the teacher to achieve
the objectives of the contract in 32 lessons.

|
Age
of students
|
|
From 14 to ...
For teenagers a test of 3 - 4 lessons has to be done
to see if it works. Parents have to pay directly Fairlingua
for 32 lessons at once.

|
Number
of students
|
|
Fairlingua provides
one to one lessons. For groups, a test is made so
that all students should have exactly the same level at the
beginning. Well begun is half done.

Free
days
|
|
National days in France.
|
|
|
Schedule
time
|
|
According to the needs of student
and capacity of teacher. Both sides do
their best to find a good time and avoid night work.
|
|
|
Teaching
language
|
|
Is possible, the
native language of student. If not, english. Very quickly
by the way, the purpose is to use only French
(explaining a new world with simple ones known by
student).

|
Book,
matérial
|
|
According to needs
and budget of student. The teacher and the students are
free to choose any method as long as the level is
reached after 32 lessons.
|
|
|
Syllabus
|
|
The ALTE "Can"
syllabus . There is 6 levels from complete beginner to
advanced. French is not specially difficult if well taught;
From 6 months to 3 years, according to your needs and
motivation, you can learn it.

|
Specialized
French
|
|
The syllabus is the
same adapted to your needs (for example : French of
Belgium, of Switzerland or of Quebec), business
French, diplomatic French, juridic French and French
for tourism. Due to preparation, an extra fee can be
asked from your teacher or a specific skilled teacher
suggested.

|
|
Homework
|
|
There is and
you have to do it. It is a part of the contract and a valid
reason to end it if you repeatedly doesn't make it. The
teacher, who knows his/her job, is the only one to
know how intensively it has to be given. Suggestions
are welcome but not a right. Your main right as student is
to work and do what your teacher ask.

|
Trial
lesson
|
|
Take an appointment
and try one lesson. If you are satisfied, you pay the
lessons with the package program / package which fit
your needs. If you decide not to choose Fairlingua, you pay
nothing at all. If you are satisfied and pay the
first lesson, you can of course take your time to begin the
lessons in the best time for you. For teenagers, the trial
time is increased until the teacher has enough informations
to accept or not the mission.

Currency
|
|
Euro (€)
converted in your curency.

Paiement
|
|
After trial lesson
and before each lesson. One lesson is always paid
in advance. The last one is free (refund of deposit).
In case of late cancelation, this deposit is systematically
used to pay the lesson which was not cancelled in time
(see : cancelation)

|
Validity
of lessons
|
|
When you choose a
program or package, you can use your lessons during all
their time of validity. You can change the time of
lesson as you want according to possibilities of teacher
and as long as you tell it by e mail or SMS. Practically,
Fairlingue will try to find the way to provide all lessons
during the time of validity of the package you choosed. We
advice you to choose a fix weekly schedule so that your
brain should catch a routine of learning.

|
Cancelation
of lesson
|
|
If you cancel a
confirmed lesson less than 24 hours before the lesson, you
have to pay this lesson and get homework by e mail to
replace it. The homework follow the syllabus. Be
aware that the attendance rate will be written on the
certificate your receive in the end of course !!

|
|
Illness
- Injury
|
|
If you are
not able to learn due to illness or injury, you can
choose to receive homework by e mail to replace the normal
one. In this case, the final certificate count these
lessons as regular attendance.
If you are not able
to learn for a short period (up to 7 days), you can choose
to change the days of lessons (see "validity of
lessons")
If you are seriously ill or injured
and can proove it, it becomes a force
majeure case .

|
Refund
policy
|
|
The two parts
are are bound for
the duration of the package choosen by student.
If
at this time, one part has to give back money to
the other, the rule "end
of month + 45 days"
apply.
|
|
|
Force
majeure
|
|
In case of force
majeure (unexpected event related at least in
local newspaper which makes impossible for the student
any attendance to classes and without real probablility of
change), the contract is ended and money is given
back. In case of force majeure from teacher,
Fairlingua, does it's best within 7 days to find another
teacher. The validity of package is extented
accordingly.
